Yield depends on more than genetics; growing conditions, plant training, and experience all play a role. That said, some strains are simply built to produce more.
As a general rule, feminized strains yield more than autoflowering strains. An XXL-yielding auto is impressive for its size and grow cycle, but an XXL-yielding feminized strain will typically produce a larger harvest overall. If maximum yield is your priority, feminized is usually the better starting point.
